On Wednesday, May 25 St. Bonaventure’s College held a free Salad Bar Day for students in Holland Hall. Approximately 135 students took advantage of the free salad. This initiative took place to help promote healthy eating with students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. In the coming weeks, Frankie the Phoenix, and a representative from the Farm to School program will visit the students to hear from them what they have learned about healthy eating from this event.
Thank you to our generous parent volunteers, and their leader, our Assistant Principal Ms. Mallay, who took time from their day to prepare the salads for all the students.
