Mrs. Rowsell Completes Year Two of Jesuit Leadership Training

The Seminars in Ignatian Leadership is a program designed to develop leaders in Jesuit schools.  The three-year program consists of two seminars per year, one in the fall and one in the winter.  This seamlessly organized program runs under the direction of Dr. Bill Hobbs from the Jesuit Schools Network based in Washington, D.C. The three years encompass Ignatian Leadership with Apostolic vision, through the responsible use of power, and with the dynamics of change.  Leadership theory and practices are explored while modeling Ignatian Pedagogy.  The participants are in a continual cycle of experience, reflection and action.

During the week of February 22 – 26,  the Nadal and Campion Cohorts reunited for Seminars in Ignatian Leadership to complete the second year of the program. Throughout the week, over 45 Jesuit educators from across North America, including our Dean, Ms. Jaline Rowsell, gathered to engage in discussions on topics such as Soul leadership, Companionship for Mission, and Ignatian Spirituality.  Ms. Rowsell will graduate from the Seminars in Ignatian Leadership in February 2017.  She will be the first of what is hoped to be a number of St. Bon’s staff who complete this program.
