You Can Make A Difference . . .
Named in honour of St. Ignatius Loyola, Ignatius Society members make a real impact on a student’s life at St. Bon’s by pledging $1,000 per year for five years, (only $84 a month). These benefactors support our goal of offering this unique educational and character-building experience to applicants from all income levels.
By committing to the Ignatius Society you can help shape the lives of many children who benefit from Bursary Assistance. You join with alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends of the school to support the legacy of St. Ignatius Loyola and St. Bonaventure’s College and it students.
“Without the Bursary Program I would not have finished my high school,” Abuk Tong ’12.
One of the goals of St. Bonaventure’s College is to ensure that no child is unable to attend St. Bonaventure’s College because of the inability to pay. Our Bursary Program provides financial assistance for tuition for those in need. Each year our bursary program allows many families who would not otherwise be able, to send their children to St. Bonaventure’s College. Currently, 14% of our students receive some form of assistance. This demand continues to increase each year.

Annual Ignatius Society Dinner
Each spring, we honor the members of the Ignatius Society, by hosting a dinner in the Aula Maxima in the presence of His Grace Archbishop Martin Currie. The meal is prepared by our Principal, Ms. Annette Mallay, and is served by our senior high students.
During the evening, new members are presented with the Ignatius Society pin, and an update is given on the bursary program, and how their support is helping students whose families receive support through the bursary program.
