Dear Parents/Guardians,
Holland Hall will be hosting a Book Swap on Friday, March 24th in support of Literacy Week. The Literacy Week Committee is kindly asking for donations of gently used books that we can use in our sale. Students in K-6 will have an opportunity to purchase a book for a toonie when classes visit the sale. Money collected will go towards ELA Books for Refugees as well as a literacy initiative that two of our Grade 12 students have started for the Gathering Place. Mr. McGrath, our President, has graciously agreed to match any money raised and donate it back to the school so that resources can be purchased for students in K-6. Previously used books may be brought to school on or before Wednesday, March 23rd. Students are asked to bring books directly to Ms. Spurvey’s classroom during homeroom period (8:30-8:45 am).
