St. Bonaventure’s College hosts a number of fundraising events each year. These events help us to raise money to ensure St. Bon’s can meet its operational budget.

St. Bon’s Cash Lottery

The St. Bonaventure’s College SBC Cash Lottery normally launches in January with the draw taking place in late February. The Lottery features a Grand Prize of $10,000 and second prize of $2,500. Tickets for our lottery are $10 each or 3 for $20. The money raised supports various school projects.


St. Bon’s students hold a Walkathon in October. They reach out to friends and family to help them raise money for their school.  The Walkathon raises funds to support a variety of curricular initiatives.

Emerald Gala – Take 2

After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to announce that Emerald Gala – Take 2 will be held ion March 25th, 2023. This event will be held at the Sheraton Hotel and will allow the St. Bonaventure’s College community to participate in an evening of fun and socializing while supporting the fund-raising needs of the school.  Evening activities include a wonderful dinner, live band and dancing, a silent auction, a live auction, and many raffles and games.  The auction items attract lots of attention and provide opportunities for experiences and acquisitions that cannot be found anywhere else.  Attendees from prior galas say this is one of the high points of our fund-raising year.

Golf Tournament

The Annual St. Bon’s Cup Golf Tournment is held each June. Participants enjoy an afternoon on the green at a local golf course, followed by a delicious meal back at the club house. Each year the St. Bon’s Cup has been more successful than the last. The proceeds from the St. Bon’s Cup supports the ongoing projects in the school such as facilities upgrades, curriculum enhancements, the bursary program, etc.
