Social Studies teacher Chris Peters and Science teacher Carolyn Power take a yearly trip, with a junior high class, to the Bother Brennan Environmental Education Centre. Here, the students participate in a cross-curricular, over-night experience in the heart of the boreal forest off Salmonier Line.

Forests, campfires and camaraderie ensure this is an experience students will remember for years to come. Chris wrote an article which was featured in Pathways: The Ontario Journal of Outdoor Education. You can read the article here to see what Chris has to say about the importance of giving students this amazing experience.
