We are excited to announce we had a record-breaking Walkathon this year. We challenged our students this year to raise $30,000; they took this challenge and ran with it. As of today, the Walkathon has raised $31,243.05! This is the highest amount the Walkathon has raised in the last 21 years!
This money will allow us to purchase the following for our students:
- 30 sets of Snowshoes
- 4 Table Tennis sets
- 10 Spike Ball Kits
- 20 new iPads for our K-3 curriculum
- Supplies to Upgrade our Student Internet
- 6 Streaming Devices
- 20 Chromebooks
- 5 sets of Projectors and Whiteboards
- Supplies for the Outdoor Classroom
Yesterday we also held our Chromebook draws and announced the winners of the various prizes.
The student with the most money raised, who will receive a gift card of their choice and a relaxed dress day, was:

The homerooms that had a class average of $100 per student, and have earned an extra 30 minutes of lunch and a relaxed dress day are:

The extra 30 minutes of lunch and relaxed dress day will be coordinated with the homeroom teachers.
Finally, because we reached our goal of $30,000 the whole school will have an afternoon movie with snacks. We will announce the day in the coming weeks.
