St. Bonaventure’s College Kinderstart Program is intentionally designed to engage students’ academic skills and behaviours, as well as their social-emotional learning. Through carefully selected themes for each session, students will explore more than just academic content; they will begin the process of learning about themselves and of building a shared community of learners with their peers and teacher.
Our Kinderstart Program includes six (6) morning and/or afternoon sessions with classmates and their teacher, as well as a School Tie Ceremony during the final session. The intention is that the children attend the in-class sessions without their parents as this gives us a better chance to get to know the children in the context of the classroom. This time provides us with the opportunity to interact with your child in meaningful ways so that they can experience varied aspects of the Kinderstart program.
